This place is amazing. I'd deffinetly recommend It, if you're looking for simple and beautiful. Didn't stay in the cabins, we tent camped. It is remote, and I wouldn't suggest making the trips up and down on a Harley but it can be done. Use your best judgment with your riding skill.
Talk about a great place to camp! The staff are friendly and very helpful! The views here are fantastic especially during fall when the leaves turn. This is a pack in pack out place so prepare to bring any trash you bring in, out with you. They do have some trash cans but try to help them out. The road in is gravel at a certain point onward so make sure you are comfortable with that or bring the car most suitable to handle gravel hills.fire wood can be bought here.
Nice place to camp. Lots of views, Check out the caretaker's cabin in the Summer... sounds like a bee swarm because of the dozens of Hummingbirds feeding! Great trail access to OHT or Shore's lake loop.
Used to go climbing here every other weekend in high school. Lots of great memories. No climbing anymore because of careless people falling to their death but it's still a place I love to visit when I can. Best scenery around this 4 state area!
This was a beautiful park and a very nice campground. The camp host is amazing here! The road is tisty and covered in gravel for quite a ways so be aware of that!
