The sun clock at the visitor Center is an amazing piece. The trial starts right behind the visitor Center.

Wonderful place. Have been here on a day trip with our 5 year old boys, they had fun. The colours were reaching peak beautiful views. There is also a small creek by the bridge with park benches to sit and have food & drinks while enjoying the view. The rest rooms are really clean here!

I have camped here twice once in the winter and this last time the fall. Both times were great. Beautiful state park, not to busy and very clean. The trails are easy hiking with a little bit of climbing it is in the mountains of Arkansas. The tent sites are very nice and the so are the cabins. Recommend this park.

Great place to camp! There's several different types of sites to choose from, camping cabins and regular cabins. There are several trails to hike and lots of pretty things to see. There's a pool I'm guessing is open in warmer weather and the restaurant had been damaged in a fire but while they are working to repair it, there is a food truck available. Bathrooms near us (loop B) are super clean and are single bathrooms with shower/toilet/sink. The ladies at the visitor center were helpful if you need more info on trails and also helped us change our reserved site to one that was nicer.

Excellent state park. Really well maintained with brand new shower and bathrooms for the camping areas. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We visited during the slow season so we didn't get to see the pool or restaurant up and running. But I will be back again! The park office offers a few supplies like snacks, hammocks, hoodies, batteries and the sort. They also rent packs with all the supplies for dry camping up on the trail. I

We will definitely be here again when possible...

Great Trail. Lots of ups and downs and diverse terrain, but still good for my 5-year-old. We only planned a day trip, so we explored the Devils Den trail that starts behind the visitor center. That trail took us about 2 hours making stops along the way to explore and take pics. We definitely want to come back and stay a few days and explore more trails. I really really liked this state park a lot! Everything is clean and it's so nice that there isn't trash all over the place (experienced that at another trail in another state)
